Our Technology
Features of our patented photocatalyst material
Long-term / anti-bacterial / anti-viral / anti-mold / deodorizing / decomposing formaldehyde / TVOC / SOx and NOx .
History of Photocatalyst
-
In 1950, the use of photocatalysis was invented by Japanese.
-
In 1972, Japanese professor Hujishima discovered water breakdown by TiO with some problems :
-
Narrow light bandwidth to energise TiO
-
High cost of material and production process but low reaction rate
-
Organic material would also be broken down.
-
In Nov 2002, Professor Hiroshi of Japan National AIST settled the above problmes, and obtained international invention patent in 2007 about new type of Photocatalyst called Apatite Nano TiO2 solution.
Breakthrough of our Nano Apatite Photocatalyst
-
Active under weak, visible light and performs 4X faster than the prior arts,
-
Safe to all surface, decomposing organic odor, HCHO, NOx, SOx, antibacteria/ virus and antimold
-
Material and production cost cut down, and the product safe to human, pets, plants and marine.
Currently, our SN-568 and MEK are the commercialised products from the National AIST and produced by Nanowave in Japan.
SN-568 and MEK were passed the strictest safety and performance approval by PIAJ
(Photocatalysis Industry Association of Japan). Both materials have being applied in Japan domestic market over 10 years like airport, hospitals, schools, elderly nursing house, office, house, agriculture, farm, etc.
SN-568 decomposition rate is faster than other rivals

Material safety of Nano Apatite TiO2
The solution of Apatite Titanium Dioxide (TiO2 ) is manufactured by patented method instead of a mixture of water, TiO2 particles and apatite. It is used in our VOC control service and disinfection coating. TiO2 has also being commonly used in food and garment for many years, such as : bread, candies, sweets and chewing gums, and clothes. It is safe to human and it has significant performance in antibacterial and antivirus. FDA also recognised it as safe additive in food.
SN-568 passed mandatory safety tests by PIAJ , tests included :
-
Peroral Accute Toxicity: LD50 > or = 2,000mg/kg
-
Primary Skin Irritation Test: No irritation or mild irritation
-
Mutation Test: Negative mutagenicity
-
Skin Sensitization Test*: Negative
*This is an additional confirmation of the product that may normally be used in a state in which they have long-term, direct skin contact.
SN-568 passed anti-bacteria tests by JFRL , with light or in dark

MEK-01 is proven to kill the following viruses or bacteria:
-
Feline calicivirus F-9 ATCC VR-782
-
Avian influenza A/ Turkey/ Ontario / 7732/66 (N5N9)
-
Escherichia coli (IFO 3972)
-
Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538)
-
Klebsiella pneumonia (ATCC 10031)
